Make your own medieval experience with our buttoned gambeson. Made from cotton, this gambeson features cloth buttons down the front and sleeves and is most suited to 14th and early 15th century impressions. The cut of the armscye and upper sleeve enable plenty of movement.
The internal fabric padding is made from cotton which helps to keep the wearer cooler compared to cheaper synthetic garments.
This gambeson is inspired by an extant clothing artefact from the 14th century owned by Charles de Blois.
